Doctors treat and diagnose diseases and take care of one's health. There are many fields in the medical sector and there are different studies assigned according to those fields. Some of the doctors specialize in particular fields some do the basic studies.

Medical field is all about practical knowledge and hence rather than the education, the work experience is given a primary priority. But as every career sector needs, this field needs some basic necessary qualification as well.

Requirements: Possessing a doctor's degree is a tough job and you need to study for a long period of time. Usually 4 years of undergraduate study and 4 years of medical school is the basic education ladder which the to-be doctors have to climb. During these studies, the candidates have to study biology, physics, chemistry and math along with English. The entrances are the very first obstacle and tough things to clear off while getting an admission to medical schools. On the other hand, apart from studies, you need to be a good and helpful human being who is caring towards other people.

Payment: Doctors make the largest money of all other job sectors all over the world. But the money they earn ultimately depends on their work experience and publicity. Longest working doctors are the highest earning ones. According to a survey made, the average annual income of a doctor was $186,044 in 2008 and is increasing at a considerable rate day-by-day. One more factor on which the earning rate of the doctors depends is the place where they work i.e whether they practice in other hospitals or they have their own hospitals or clinics.
